VISATRON® Oil Mist Detector
Systems from Schaller Automation protect large diesel, gas, and dual-fuel engines from consequential damage caused by oil mist explosions resulting from overheating bearings or other moving parts. These systems continuously extract air from each compartment of the engine crankcase using a suction system. The necessary suction vacuum is generated by a wear-free air jet pump within the device.
Although different from other systems on the market, this technology is well-proven and accepted by engine manufacturers and shipowners, offering several field advantages such as high operational reliability and low maintenance costs.
